El pasado 24 de febrero tuvo lugar el III Torneo de Debate Provincial. El IES Averroes fue representado por Javier Tirado, Ariadna Mármol, Miguel Raya y Hui Zhang. Además, sus educadores fueron Gonzalo Herreros, Pilar Serrano y Roberto Guijarro.
En esta ocasión nos invitaban a debatir la siguiente cuestión: ¿Debería ser obligatoria la vacunación contra la COVID-19 de todos los trabajadores presenciales para que puedan seguir en sus puestos de trabajo?
Nuestro instituto, bien representado, se enfrentó a ambas posturas, a favor y en contra, siendo la postura a favor la predominante.
El torneo en su conjunto se componía de tres rondas iniciales antes de comer, y después, cuartos, semifinales y final.
El IES Averroes se quedó a puertas de semifinales, pero con la cabeza bien alta, dejando un gran nivel y demostrando que la dialéctica no se ha olvidado.
El equipo ganador fue el IES Álvarez Cubero, de Priego de Córdoba, al que felicitamos y deseamos suerte para las siguientes fases.
