Hoy martes, 29 de abril, se ha celebrado la XIII edición de la Ghymkhana Matemática por Córdoba en la que han participado un total de 135 grupos, en equipos de cuatro alumnos por grupo, de 1º o 2º de Bachillerato, seleccionados de los diferentes institutos de Córdoba que han querido participar. Por parte de nuestro centro han participado 48 alumnos y alumnas. Tras toda la mañana corriendo de acá para allá, resolviendo problemas matemáticos por toda la ciudad, en el Palacio de Congresos se realizó la entrega de premios. El año pasado conseguimos la 3ª y 7ª posición, y este año han obtenido dos premios: el 12 y el 18. Ha habido varios grupos que también se han quedado cerca de los premios. Los profesores de matemáticas que les acompañaron (Esther, Patricia, Encarni, Enrique y Manolo) quieren resaltar que con o sin premios, han participado todos muy bien, incluso se han oído «grandes loas» sobre lo bien que trabajaban en grupo..
Los problemas no han sido excesivamente complicados, lo importante ha sido que estuvieran relacionados con el entorno. El objetivo de esta actividad es que el alumnado aplique los conceptos que ya posee de Matemáticas a cosas concretas y, al mismo tiempo, que conozcan mejor su ciudad. Córdoba, como tantas otras ciudades, es, sin duda, una ciudad ideal para celebrar una Gymkhana.
