Durante una hora, el profesor Manuel Toribio explicó los orígenes del andalucismo histórico y la importancia que en este movimiento tuvo la figura de Antonio Jaén Morente. Este historiador cordobés y político republicano fue hijo de herrero, profesor de instituto y llegó a ocupar cargos políticos destacados durante el período de la Segunda República. Murió en el exilio como tantas otras figuras relevantes de la cultura republicana española.
