Ayer martes, 5 de mayo, nos visitó un religioso congoleño, Vincent Kambere. Vino acompañado de nuestro compañero Manuel Martínez Alaminos, al que conoce desde hace bastantes años, juntos visitaron el instituto y vieron cómo funciona. Para ello se pasaron concretamente por dos aulas: una de informática (con 4º de Diversificación Curricular) donde pudo comprobar cómo trabajan los alumnos utilizando la informática; y la otra, de 2º Bachillerato, en la que estaban dando clase de francés. Como su idioma es el francés aprovechó para hablar con los alumnos y las alumnas en esta lengua. Entre otras cosas les comentó: “ vosotros tenéis unos padres que os ayudan a preparar vuestro futuro y ahora lo estáis preparando; en mi tierra la gran mayoría de los jóvenes no tienen esa posibilidad ”.
Se fue del instituto muy impresionado por la atención y acogida que tuvo. Se sorprendió de que tantos jóvenes le escuchasen con interés y nos dio con cariño las gracias a todos. Al marchar comentó: “ África empieza a estar ya más cerca de Europa” .
