El pasado día 14 de mayo de 2015, los cursos de 3º ESO C y 3º de Diversificación, acompañados de las profesoras Maite Baena y Virginia Torres, del IES Averroes visitamos un patio cordobés, el patio de la Hermandad Universitaria. Nuestro objetivo era colaborar en la obra social de esta hermandad pero además hicimos un trabajo sobre distintos aspectos de la fiesta de los patios en Córdoba a través de la visita al mismo.
El patio está cerca de la Plaza de la Agrupación de cofradías, en la calle Samuel y Gener. Fuimos andando cargados con nuestro kilo de alimentos en las mochilas o bolsas que nos íbamos turnando. Eran los alimentos que más necesitaban porque previamente nos habíamos informado.
Cuando llegamos sobre las 13:00, nos recibieron el Hermano Mayor, Miguel Rodríguez-Pantoja, y la responsable de la obra social, Carmen Guisado. La clase se dividió en grupos y cada uno eligió un tema propuesto en clase. El Hermano Mayor respondió a todas nuestras entrevistas por grupos. Mientras, otros grababan y otros hacían fotos.
Luego, la responsable de la obra Social nos enseñó el almacén que poseían y nos contó cómo intentaban mantener y buscar trabajo a varias familias con muchas necesidades del barrio. El instituto también colaboró con 1 euro por alumno. Nos agradecieron mucho nuestra colaboración y nos contaron que muchas veces no podían ayudar a buscar trabajo porque las personas carecían de titulación o estudios básicos.
Con mucho calor, pero satisfechos por la contribución, fuimos de regreso al instituto.
