El martes 24 de abril, dentro de las actividades programadas para la Semana del Libro y patrocinada por el Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte, el IES Averroes recibió la visita del escritor César Mallorquí. Los alumnos y alumnas de 2º y 3º ESO que habían leído sus libros pudieron disfrutar de una hora con el autor de El último trabajo del Señor Luna, Las lágrimas de Shiva o El maestro oscuro.
César Mallorquí nos habló de cómo empezó a escribir y de cómo disfruta escribiendo, pero principalmente nos habló de por qué leer. Leer permite disfrutar de otras vidas (así que vives más vidas que la tuya propia), entretenerte, emocionarte y, sobre todo, imaginar. Explicó que por eso solo suele dar unas pequeñas indicaciones sobre cómo es cada personaje, para que cada lector pueda imaginarlo libremente.
Después fueron los alumnos y las alumnas los que le hicieron preguntas, algunas preparadas y otras más espontáneas, que fueron surgiendo con la conversación. Hubo hasta comentarios sobre fútbol…
Esperamos que conocer en persona a uno de los autores más leídos en el Centro, os anime a seguir leyendo más, e imaginando y disfrutando más cada día. Y si crees que leer es un aburrimiento, igual es que aún tienes que encontrar un libro o un género que te abra la puerta del fantástico mundo de la lectura.
