El 5 de Junio, Día Mundial del Medio Ambiente, el Ayuntamiento de Córdoba, a través de la Delegación de Familia, Educación e Infancia, invitó a los centros educativos a la 7ª edición de la Gymkhana Ambiental “Mirando al Río” destinada a los niveles educativos de tercer ciclo de primaria y primer ciclo de la ESO. Del IES Averroes participaron en esta actividad cuatro equipos compuestos por alumnos/as de 2º ESO A (17 alumnos) y un quinto equipo formado por alumnos de 2º ESO B (4 alumnos). La actividad lúdico-educativa comenzó en el Monumento Natural Los Sotos de la Albolafía y durante 3 horas los alumnos tuvieron que ir superando pruebas en los espacios de Sotos de la Albolafia, casco histórico, Zoológico y Jardín Botánico, donde finalizó la actividad y tuvo lugar la entrega de premios.
